Mark Chaplin Ph.D graduated from the University of St Andrews with a BSc in Cell Biology. He went onto study the role of specific centrosomal proteins at the University of Dundee and attained his doctorate in 1996. After starting his working life in post-doctoral research, he joined the pharmaceutical industry where he has now worked for over 20 years. Mark has held several different positions in both the United Kingdom and America, including roles in medical affairs, global strategic marketing, and medical education. He joined Allergan in 2004 and currently heads up their International educational offering for Allergan Aesthetics under the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI). In this role, Mark has lectured to audiences all over the world, focusing on topics such as neurotoxins, the importance of education, and trends in the aesthetics space.
